"Meet the St Tim's Team!"
Rev. Rob Desics - Senior Minister Rob has been the 'vicar' of St Tim's since 2005 after moving to Middlesbrough from Essex. His role in the church involves leading the ministry team, preaching and teaching the Christian faith, pastoral care and evangelism. Rob is a governor for Viewley Hill Primary School, and is the chairman of the Hemlington Community Council. He is married to Sam and they have five children (three of whom were born in Middlesbrough). Rob plays the piano and enjoys cooking, watching films at the cinema, reading books and history. Adam Scholes - Assistant Minister Adam joined St Tim's in 2010. He has particularly responsibility for youth work and outreach in the church. He has a passion to see people engaging with the Bible and seeing how the Christian faith is relevant to their lives. Originally from Bedford, Adam played football at academy level for Luton Town FC. Adam leads the youth work at the church. He is married to Victoria, and he enjoys running, reading, and following the fortunes (or lack thereof!) of Luton Town FC. Adam claims to be one of God's chosen people because his paternal grandmother was Jewish!
Joyce has been a member of St Tim's since the 1980's. She was born and raised in Grove Hill, Middlesbrough. Joyce spends a great deal of her time behind the counter in the church cafe (where she is famous for her bacon buns). She has three daughters, one of whom works in Australia for a Christian mission organisation.
Jeanette has been a key member of St Tim's for many years. She has lived in Hemlington since the 1970's and serves as a local councillor for Hemlington Ward. Jeanette was instrumental in helping to set up the church cafe in 2006. For seven years she was chairman of the Hemlington Community Council, and she is currently the chair of governors for Viewley Hill Primary School in Hemlington.
